Description:

The shortest par-4 on the course is one of the most fun, yet most frustrating holes for many golfers. Even medium-long hitters can drive the ball near, on or over the green on occasion -- if you get the right wind and/or bounce in the fairway. But to do that, you must avoid a series of bunkers. Even if you lay up short of the bunkers, the approach shot is difficult because the green is very shallow, causing many shots to go long into a runoff area or into the rough. It's truly a thinking-person's hole!

How to Play It:

You have two options off the tee. Hit driver or for longer players maybe a fairway metal. aim for the middle of the green and hope it avoids the pot bunker in the middle of the fairway 30 yards short of the green. The other option is to play a tee shot about 185 to 200 yards long and be short of fairway bunkers. This will leave you a short iron into a green that is difficult to hold. The green is narrow from front to back and has both a false front and back. If you can drive your ball near or on the green and stay out of the fairway bunkers, you will have a great chance at birdie. Very fun hole and can change a lot depending on the wind. The green also tends to have more break in the putts than you may think.
