Description:The only par-5 on the front nine offers plenty of challenge, starting with the long fairway bunker on the left. For those trying to reach the green in two shots, bunkers located from 20 to 60 yards short of the green come into play. The green is small, placing a premium on accuracy with your approach shot because the green slopes right and there's a devilish deep bunker behind.
How to Play It:Hit your tee shot to the middle of the fairway to take the large fairway bunker out of play. Most of the time trying to hit this green in two shots is not worth the risk. If you play your second shot into the large landing area short of the fairway bunkers, it will leave you with a short iron into this green that can be tough to hold. Missing this green left, right or in the bunker long will give you a challenging up and down. | |
