A DRIVING RANGE THAT MAKES PRACTICE FUN...

Practice can be done at both ends of the driving range -- there is plenty of room for everyone! At the south end are practice bunkers and several chipping and pitching areas. There is room for every shot you want to practice as well as a practice putting green to work on your short game. The new short-game facility at the south end (designed by course architects Tom Lehman & Chris Brands) incorporates numerous bunkers and elevation changes that are similar to those played throughout the golf course.

FLEXIBILITY ON THE COURSE

There are no rules requiring how a golfer can get around, but available are caddies, club-owned electric carts and push carts. Golfers also can carry their bag at any time.

BAG STORAGE AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS

Available is a bag room for storage of your equipment. Clubs are cleaned after each use and can be safely stored in bag storage year round. Full-service club repair is available such as regripping, reshafting, and more.

A GOLF INSTRUCTION PROGRAM

One of the benefits of being a member of Edina Country Club is the variety and quality of the instruction program. Numerous instructors are available to help improve your game, led by teaching professional Bill Brask, a former PGA and Champions Tour player and long-time instructor. Matt Sandquist is the new Player Development Professional on the golf staff , focusing on instruction and year-long programs. Assistant professionals John Anderson, Dylan Leivermann and Will Hedberg also are available for lessons. Types of instruction include individual lessons, lesson series, video lessons, playing lessons and group clinics. Our instructors work with every type of golfer from the true beginner to the advanced player.

GOLF SIMULATOR

You can now play golf at Edina Country Club on a year-round basis. The club owns a High-Definition Golf simulator that will be open all year starting in the fall of 2021. You have the option of using the simulator for practice (there are nine different driving range options) or playing any of the 30-plus courses available. It’s a great way to work on your game in the winter months, and more importantly, have some fun!

GOLF TOURNAMENTS

Some of the benefits of membership at Edina Country Club are the social and competitive opportunities available. There is great variety of tournaments for every golfer. The club also participates in the Twin Cities Senior men's and women's city leagues. Numerous guest days are offered for both men and women. The golf schedule is carefully planned and scheduled to spread out competitions and events throughout the golf season.
