Description:The No. 1 handicap hole on the course requires two accurate shots to have a good chance at birdie or par. The fairway on the slight dogleg right slopes to the right -- but don't go too far right or a pond comes into play. Because the uphill green slopes left to right as well, approach shots should be aimed left of the pin for the best result.
How to Play It:A tee shot up the left center is best play. Avoid going right or the water will come into play. Your second shot will require a mid to long iron or hybrid into a slightly elevated green. Hit enough club to take the bunker 30 yards short of the green out of play. The green slopes left to right. | |
