Tennis

Our Head Pro, Greg Wicklund and his very capable staff of professionals at Edina Country Club run our Tennis program at Edina Country Club. Greg has been with Edina Country Club since 1982 and has been inducted into the USTA's Northern Hall of Fame and was named the 2010 USTA Northern Frank Voigt Professional of the Year. Greg is a former player and coach at the University of Minnesota. He was a Big Ten Singles Champion in 1981 and U.S.T.A. Senior National Singles Champion in 2010.

Greg takes great care in securing seasonal staff that are professional, qualified and work well with all ages particularly our junior teams. We have a great junior program. Group and private lessons are available, as well as many chances for socialization with tournaments and fun events scheduled for juniors, ladies, men and mixed couples. We also have U.S.T.A. teams for men and women members at Edina Country Club. 

During the winter season, the Tennis Center becomes our winter activity headquarters. Platform tennis, hockey, ice skating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding are just part of the fun during the traditional tennis off season.  We encourage you and your families to join in the tennis fun here at ECC.
